The owner of the online shop archduchessinvestigates.com (hereinafter referred to as the Online Shop) is Mi ART OÜ, registry code 14203405, email email@example.com (hereinafter Mi ART).
1. General terms and conditions for placing orders
1.1. General terms and conditions for placing orders (hereinafter General terms and conditions) apply when purchasing from the Online Shop.
1.3. These General terms and conditions, the procedure for processing customers’ personal data as well as the pricelist of products are available on the homepage of the Online Shop.
2.1. The Customer does not need to register as a user of Online Shop to be able to order products.
2.2. The Customer selects a suitable product, indicates the quantity of each product and determines the method of payment. Before final confirmation of the order, the Customer can review and change the order. After reviewing the order, the Customer confirms the order.
2.3. All the products on display are located in the European Union. The price of delivery is added to the price of the selected product in accordance with the location of the Customer and can be reviewed at checkout.
2.4. The order confirmed by the Customer can be paid for via bank transfer or credit card.
2.5. The contract between the Customer and Mi ART is considered concluded after the order confirmation has been sent to the Customer’s email by Mi ART.
2.6. The order is considered valid after the product has been shipped to the Customer by Mi ART.
3.1. Mi ART delivers the product to the delivery address indicated by the Customer when placing the order. The digital product will be sent to the email address indicated in the Customer’s billing details.
3.2. Mi ART delivers the product within three (three) business days of receipt of payment.
3.3. The price of delivery is indicated in the pricelist that is made available to the Customer when placing the order.
3.4. The product will be delivered from the European Union. Depending on the country, delivery may take 7-30 business days.
3.5. The Customer is responsible for any additional taxes, customs fees and/or import duties according to legislation in force in the Customer’s country.
3.6. If Mi ART is unable to deliver the order to the Customer due to reasons related to the Customer, the order will be cancelled, Mi ART will withhold the sum of expenses for the return of the order and the rest of the paid sum will be refunded to the Customer’s current account.
4. Customer’s right to cancel the order
4.1. The Customer has the right to cancel the order without providing a reason within 14 calendar days after receiving the product by submitting a written application by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
4.2. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Customer is a juridical person.
4.3. If the Customer cancels the order, the Customer undertakes to return the unused and undamaged product within 14 calendar days from the moment of submitting the cancellation application to the delivery address indicated by Mi ART.
4.4. The Customer must cover the expenses related to returning the product.
4.5. Mi ART returns the sum paid for the returned product to the Consumer within 14 calendar days from the moment the returned product arrives at the return address indicated.
4.6. If the product returned by the Customer is used or damaged, Mi ART has the right to demand compensation up to the sum equal to the sales price of the product.
4.7. Digital products (e-books) cannot be returned.
5.1. Some augmented products highlighted on the Online Shop consist of extended digital content (hereinafter the Metatext), which is accessible to registered users.
5.2. Each augmented product offers access to the relevant section of the Metatext. The precondition for registration and access is purchasing a corresponding augmented product on the Online Shop.
5.3. Purchasing an augmented product on any other sales platform (e.g. Amazon) does not enable the Customer to register for augmented content.
5.4. The Customer can register on the Online Shop when placing an order for an augmented product.
5.5. When sending the augmented product, Mi ART also sends instructions for account activation to the email address indicated by the Customer. The email address provided will function as the Customer’s initial username.
5.6. The status of being a registered user of the relevant section of Metatext is free of charge and open-ended.
5.7. The registered user is not entitled to bonuses or privileges on the Online Shop. To place an order on the Online Shop, the Customer is not required to register as a user of the Online Shop.
5.9. The user account will be deleted in the following cases:
– Upon the Customer’s written notice via email email@example.com.
– If the Customer cancels the order of the augmented product after receiving it (see Section 4. Customer’s right to cancel the order).
6. Customer’s Rights
6.1. The Customer has the right to order the product at the price and under the conditions set out by Mi ART on the Online Shop.
6.2. The product sent to the Customer must be complete and of proper quality and correspond to the conditions set out by Mi ART.
6.3. The Customer has the right to submit a claim regarding the ordering of the product or product itself to Mi ART by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 14 days from the moment of receipt of the product. With regard to a physical or technical deficiency of the product or its noncompliance with the provisions of the contract, the faulty product is replaced by Mi ART with a similar one. As for the replacement under these conditions, no extra cost is incurred for the Customer. If the respective product is no longer available, the sales contract is terminated and the price of the product is returned to the Customer.
6.4. Mi ART cannot take any responsibility for the harm caused (loss, damage, delay, etc.) during delivery by a postal service.
6.5. The Customer has the right to cancel an order in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.
7. Customer’s Obligations
7.1. Upon placing an order, the Customer must indicate the information required for processing the order: name and surname, exact postal address (apartment number, house number, street, city/village, county and postal code,), contact phone and email address.
7.2. If the Customer and the Recipient of the products are different, the information set out in Section 7.1 must also be provided about the Recipient.
7.3. If the information provided by the Customer is inaccurate and/or incomplete, Mi ART cannot guarantee timely delivery of the product. If possible, Mi ART will attempt to contact the Customer to specify inaccurate or incomplete information.
7.4. By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they agree with these General terms and conditions and undertake to comply with them.
8. Rights of Mi ART
8.1. Mi ART has the right to make changes to these General terms and conditions without prior notification by publishing the new terms on the Online Shop.
8.2. Mi ART has the right to change the pricelist on the Online Shop at any time without prior notification by publishing the new pricelist on the Online Shop.
8.4. If the Customer fails to comply with obligations undertaken in accordance with these General terms and conditions, Mi ART cannot guarantee processing of the order and/or timely delivery of the products.
8.3. Mi ART does not guarantee that descriptions of the book(s) correspond to the Customer’s opinion about the content of the book(s).
9. Obligations of Mi ART
9.1. The product delivered to the Customer by Mi ART must be complete and of proper quality.
9.2. Mi ART is responsible only for the damage present at the time of transferring the products to the post office.
9.3. Mi ART undertakes to replace a product with physical or technical non-compliances at no extra cost to the Customer within 14 business days.
9.4. Any disputes between the parties are settled by negotiations.
